Blue Heron Tide AccommodationsRates & Availability
Blue Heron Tide is a 4-bedroom, 3-1/2-bath cottage on the Quiet Side of Mt. Desert Island's Acadia National Park. On the shore of Duck Cove in Tremont, it accommodates up to 8 guests. Blue Heron Tide is designed to provide a variety of common areas for being together while ensuring that, if one party wants to read while another plays ping pong, you have enough privacy -- and quiet -- to do both simultaneously. Two bedrooms are on the entry floor, the "B&B" Room and the Twin Room. The "B&B" Room has a double bed, and the Twin Room has two twin beds. A full bath is accessible by both bedrooms. The B&B bedroom has the clearest ocean view, boasting the same stunning panorama shared by the living and dining rooms, looking out to the mouth of the cove across Blue Hill Bay to Swan's Island and beyond. The living room includes a game table in addition to comfortable seating and ready access to the screened-in porch.
On the second floor there are two additional bedrooms, the Master Bedroom with a queen bed, and the "Cottage" Room, also with a queen. Each bedroom has its own private, full bath. There is also a sitting room and reading nook, which enjoy the same spectacular view as the bedrooms. In the walkout on the ground floor there is also a game room and wicker seating area - perfect for separate recreation or quiet time. A ping pong table is also included, for entertainment on rainy days or a friendly tournament regardless of the weather. Blue Heron Tide includes a fully-equipped kitchen, steps to a quiet stretch of shore, a gas barbecue grille, CD/Radio/TV/VCR, a good collection of short stories, board games, puzzles, and cards for a rainy day or cozy night. At Blue Heron Tide you've got everything you need for your vacation, special occasion, getaway, or holiday.
